Day 332: Something Beautiful—Loved Ones

Something Beautiful is a self-imposed initiative to find a visual feast for every day of the year.

At the top of my grateful list sits two men, my sons. Today I am not only grateful to have them in my life, but for the joy of having them together with me for today and a few more besides. The house was full with other important beings . . . Thomas’ Cassie and Lady Grey Kitty. Some new friends joined us and built friendship and familiarity over Tripoly, a time honored family tradition. I invented back bottom croissants and surprised the AAA guy with hot coffee when he came to jump my car at 7am. We watched “Home for the Holidays,” a gift from my youngest sister and another tradition filled with memories and meaning. it was a day of gifts and beautiful gratitude. Thank you to those who have shared the journey this past year and Happy Thanksgiving to those who share in the holiday.
