Day 321: Something Beautiful—Graciousness

Something Beautiful is a self-imposed initiative to find a visual feast for each day of the year.

One thing I have always appreciated is the beauty of simple graciousness. Elevating the routine with a few touches that make it an event. One of my sisters of choice is visiting. Like me, she enjoys taking the time to artistically set a dining table when company comes. Yester day Kathy and I enjoyed setting the table for local sisters Evelien and Becky. The meal was a group effort. Tasty and inventive with mango mimosas as our touch of decadence. A thoughtful table. A gracious gathering. And sublime fellowship. All things of beauty.
