Day 315: Something Beautiful—Shadows and Light

Something Beautiful is a self-imposed initiative to find a visual feast for each day of the year.

I live in a beautiful place. Nestled in a valley next to the Little Miami and Ohio Rivers in Cincinnati, Ohio. Until this autumn, I have missed the bright, vibrant reds and oranges of the Wisconsin hardwoods. We had more precipitation this summer than the previous three and, I expect that is the reason for the glorious color this fall.

Yesterday, I got up early. The morning light and shadows are spectacular. The colors more intense. The contrasting shadows more dramatic. A time of beauty and transience.
