Day 307: Something Beautiful—Climbers

Something Beautiful is a self-imposed initiative to find a visual feast for each day of the year.

I often wonder about the people who get “caught” in the photos I take. Like the climbers below on Beluga Point in Alaska. Who are they? Why were they there? Was it a peak experience for them as it was for me? Do they remember this moment that has become immortalized in a sketch that I may someday use as the inspiration for a painting? Two are looking my way. Did it even register that they were in my shot?
