Day 234: Something Beautiful—Sumptuous Sorbet

Something Beautiful is a self-imposed initiative to find a visual feast for each day of a year.

Cassis. Pomegranate. Mango. Pineapple. Lime. Vibrant and glorious sorbet colors. Icy, refreshing tastes of summer along with white linen pants, panama hats and parasols. Sumptuous sorbet—somptueux sorbet. French absolument. Tonight the  music in my head is not Debussy or Faure but Strauss and the background to frosted glass sorbet parfaits is whirling skirts under paper lantern parks where a red-uniformed band is playing the Der Rosenkavelier Waltz under a bursting moon and starry sky.
