Day 230: Something Beautiful—Fingers of the Mum

Something Beautiful is a self-imposed initiative to find a visual feast for each day of a year.

Moon thoughts have taken over. White. As I meditated on today’s lovely thing—I all saw was white. Somewhere from my past came the image of the spider mum. The classic homecoming corsage in high school. Never a favorite then, but as I was exposed to Asian art—I grew to appreciate their graceful, milky arms — aggraziate, braccia lattee.
