Day 226: Something Beautiful—The Nocturnal Moon Flower

Something Beautiful is a self-imposed initiative to find a visual feast for each day of a year.

There are master gardeners among my people. They have a special way with nature. A true creativity with plant life. One of these friends planted a moon garden. An amazing place where beautiful things came to life in the dark lit only by the moon. Queen of all that was in the garden was an exquisite giant. The moonflower.

Moonflowers are nocturnal bloomers, perfect for night owls and late night strollers. After sunset, huge white flowers open and regale the night with splendor and fragrance until the sun rises. Exquisite nocturnal elegance—squisita eleganza notturno.
