Day 211: Something Beautiful—26 Glaciers

Something Beautiful is a self-imposed initiative to find a visual feast for each day of a year.

Day 12: The Alaskan Adventure—26 Glaciers

10:30pm. We left at 9am and conquered Whittier. Then spent 5 hours touring Prince William Sound and 26 glaciers. A picture could not do them justice. The day bright blue and gorgeous, but the best pictures were before going through the train tunnel to get to Whittier. There is a phenomenal amount to tell, but I have not the energy to do it tonight. For now, the beautiful shot of the incredible Whittier Glacier before going through the mountain to get to the other side and sun. Unimaginable size and perspective—dimensione incredibile e prospettiva.
