Day 191: Something Beautiful—Ile St. Louis

Something Beautiful is a self-imposed initiative to find a visual feast for each day of a year.

2260786558_a966ebb72fParis. In 61 days, I will stroll the streets of St. Germaine and be channeling Hemingway, Zola, and Lautrec. On my list of things to do is find the Berthillon sorbet shop on the Ile St. Louis, a beautiful little island in the middle of the Seine and the Latin Quarter. The taste and color of cassis sorbet is to me utter joy—sheer bliss . . . pur bonheur.
