Day 188—Something Beautiful—Valley of Magnificent Giants

Something Beautiful is a self-imposed initiative to find a visual feast for each day of a year.

Went to see “The Lone Ranger and Tonto” at the superplex in Fairfield, Ohio. A Johnny Depp film which means a unusual interpretation. Part “Little Big man” with an homage to “Return of Zorro.” Enjoyed it completely—but what stuck with me after were the spectacular images of Monument Valley, Utah. I will paint there sometime soon. Nearly every and any photo is stunning. A valley of magnificent giants—una valle di magnifici giganti.
