Day 97: Something Beautiful—The Millau Bridge

Something Beautiful is a 2013 self-imposed initiative to find a visual feast for each day of  the year.

The Millau Bridge in France is the world’s tallest vehicular bridge. Three years in construction, it was opened in 2004. Taller than the Eiffel Tower it is similarly elegant. An example of how man’s modern aesthetic can be a beautiful counterpoint to nature. Parading boat sails on a white ribbon held up to the sky. A simply stunning structure blended with a breathtaking view. Food for thought, soul and much more.
