Day 77: Something Beautiful—Green and Enchanted Forests

Something Beautiful is a 2013 self-imposed initiative to find a visual feast for each day of the year.

Moss came to mind tonight. Must have been an unconscious yearning for corned beef and cabbage. Gabriel Byrne says in his autobiography that Ireland isn’t the constantly intense and glowing green you’re led to believe in movies. But it is magical and when the light is just right, it is beautiful.

An enchanted green forest lush and lovely is a fitting image for this day of celebrating St. Patrick, leprechauns, and Guinness. Slainte!

Your intentions, so green, are worthy of merit.

If you’re familiar with Dr. Andrew Wyle’s work, he felt constant exposure to the negativity of the news warranted a news fast to get your head and soul in the right place. I feel this is the next step—putting something proactive into your mind. A lovely default, so to speak. I’m glad you are enjoying it.
      Donna

Moss is just yum on so many levels – such a clever species and so tactile!!

  4. Ah yes, I have forgotten it is St. Patrick’s day–thanks for the reminder and the photo of nature for today 🙂
