Resolution #1: Everyday Something Beautiful

As usual, the holidays were full to the brim. There are many stories to tell but I’m not ready to tell them. Yet. The new year has begun and I have made a resolution inspired by someone I love who told me he makes it a point to look at something beautiful everyday. To me that is simple and brilliant. I’m 10 days late starting but while the stories are brewing, I have resolved to at least share with you one beautiful image a day for the next year.

fairy in plant roomMeet the fairy in the Mt. Muchmore  “conservatory.” She is lovely and a gift from dear friend, Bonnie, who is head fairy at Dog-in-the-Hole Studios in Verona, WI. I’ve chosen this picture not just because “she” is beautiful, but it is my “green” room, full of plants and thoughts of spring. More than that, it is a reminder of Italy–clay pots, old wood tables. My compass is pointed to Tuscany where Cindy Armstrong and I will lay down the adventure gauntlet in approximately eight months.

May your eyes rest on something lovely today and much more.

    Hi Donna,
What a marvelous idea…Yes, your fairy brought a smile to me and endearing memories of our friendship when we worked in our gardens and looked like a Million Bucks. What Hot Mama’s!
